what does skin booster treatment involve?

I will provide a thorough consultation prior to any treatments. Following a careful assessment a tailored treatment plan will be provided.

Discomfort is minimised by local anaesthetic cream. The skin booster product also contains local anaesthetic to further aid discomfort.

The gel is injected under the skin using very fine needles. The injections may feel like a slight pinch as they enter the treatment area and you may feel pressure as the gel is injected, you should not feel much pain at all.

The treatment may take 30 – 45 minutes depending on the area being treated.

what to expect after treatment

Immediately after the treatment, you may have some mild swelling, this can last for 24-48 hours. Slight bruising at the site of injections is also possible and will resolve within 7-10 days.

You may notice small ‘bumps’ on your skin following your treatment however this will disappear over the next few days as the product settles into place.

The cost will vary depending on how many mls are required to treat your specific areas. Packages are available and exact cost will be discussed at your consultation once treatment areas have been assessed.

As a general guide a full face requires 3ml, cheeks 2ml and the neck 1ml.
